Associate Attorney needed for Amarillo office

Amarillo office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with experience. The candidate will review legal documents such as pleadings, notices, and judgments. Will make regular court appearances in the Texas Panhandle. Review all facts, legal issues, and documents in a case prior to a court appearance. Work closely with staff on collection and litigation activities. Draft discovery requests and responses. Research and analyze legal issues. Advise clients on tax matters. Communicate with taxpayers and attorneys. Participate in monthly office meetings. Develop and maintain relationships with clients. Participate in marketing and networking activities. Attend local evening and weekend events. Attend statewide conferences. Draft advisory memorandum for firm-wide distribution and/or distribution to clients. Assist with appellate matters. Manage a large caseload. Identify and effectively analyze complex issues. Provide research that is thorough, complete, and responsive to the issue at hand. Write in an organized, clear, and concise manner. Work in a supervisory position. Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
