Mr. Roberts is an experienced trial lawyer and has worked on a wide range of litigation matters in both Federal and State courts around the country. Mr. Roberts is a commercial litigator with a strong background in both employment and general litigation. John regularly counsels business owners on best practices and pre-litigation strategies in order to help divert potential matters from developing into costly litigation. Mr. Roberts is licensed to practice law in Florida, Alabama and Tennessee and is licensed to appear before all Federal Courts in those jurisdictions as well as the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Roberts has also represented private clients in qui tam (whistleblower) actions that have led to multi-million dollar recoveries for the United States Treasury, as well as significant rewards for his clients. In that arena, he has handled a wide range of cases involving violations of the False Claims Act, and the Anti-Kickback Statute, as well as health care fraud, securities fraud, and commercial fraud.

Mr. Roberts is also a frequent speaker on the False Claims Act. Formerly an attorney for an Am Law 100 law firm in Birmingham, Alabama, Mr. Roberts now resides in Santa Rosa Beach with his with his wife, three children and an English bulldog. Mr. Roberts is active in the Walton County community as a member of the Walton County Planning Commission and the Walton County Board of Code Enforcement. Mr. Roberts also serves on the Board of Directors for the Caring and Sharing and Past Member for the Children's Volunteer Health Network and Point Washington United Methodist Church Preschool. Mr. Roberts is also an ardent saltwater fisherman, an avid world traveler, and a passionate college football fan.
