Franklin Karibjanian & Law PLLC is a boutique trusts and estates law firm, serving clients in the Nations Capital region, Florida and beyond. Today, our friendly, small-firm atmosphere allows our highly skilled legal team to work closely with our clients to make sure they receive the personal attention and concern they deserve, while achieving optimal results.

Our firm carries forward the legacy of Virginia A. McArthur. Ginny started the predecessor firm over 20 years ago and was an institution in the local DMV trusts & estates bar. She and Richard Franklin formed McArthur Franklin PLLC in 2011, and Ginny retired in the summer of 2015. In May of 2017, George Karibjanian and Lester Law joined Richard in the current firm.

Practice: The firm provides estate planning representation for clients with modest to large estates, domestic and international. A core strength is assisting in mitigating the impact of Federal and state wealth transfer taxes -- i.e., gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer taxes. In addition, the Firm has a large practice that assists individual and professional fiduciaries and families in the post-death estate settlement process. We also advise professional fiduciaries on fiduciary law matters.

George, Lester, and Richard were long-time friends and collaborators before joining forces on May 1, 2017 to start Franklin Karibjanian & Law. Here they are pictured on October 27, 2016, where George gave Lester and Richard a tour of the Notre Dame campus, George's undergraduate alma mater. Earlier in the day, all three made presentations at the 42nd Annual Notre Dame Tax and Estate Planning Institute in South Bend, Indiana.
