Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce the addition of lateral attorney Christopher J. Schulte to the firm’s Litigation Practice. With extensive experience in immigration and employment related litigation, Mr. Schulte bolsters SGR’s competencies in the northeast. He joins the firm’s Washington, D.C. office from CJ Lake, LLC where he was a litigator.
 
As a partner in SGR’s Litigation Practice, Mr. Schulte advises and litigates on behalf of employers and employer associations with respect to employment and business immigration matters, including wage and hour, H-2A and H-2B non-immigrant worker program compliance matters. Additionally, he works on public policy issues involving Congress and Federal agencies related to immigration, agriculture, insurance, clean energy, health care, environment, and transportation. Mr. Schulte is a member of the District of Columbia, New York, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire bars and has been admitted to practice before federal district and appellate courts throughout the U.S.

Prior to joining SGR, Mr. Schulte was with CJ Lake and has practiced law at several other law firms in New York and Washington, D.C. He earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and his undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
