Adorno & Yoss Goes Bust
Another law firm, this time in Florida, has folded. Adorno & Yoss, said to be the largest Hispanic owned firm in the U.S. (though that's now being questioned), has shut its doors and is now contemplating filing for bankruptcy protection. The primary player, Hank Adorno, is said to have been living the good life, despite evidence that proves otherwise, including a massive malpractice suit the firm is facing. Rent payments are said to be in arrears, the other lawyers in the firm have been waiting for payments and then once received, were told they were no good by the bank associated with those checks. The office, a whopping 23,000 foot and in an upscale area of Ft. Lauderdale, is going on the market.
