Media & Entertainment Lawyer Warren Biro Joins Barnes & Thornburg

Barnes & Thornburg LLP was pleased to announce the addition of an associate to their Los Angeles office. Warren Biro will join the firm as an associate in their Entertainment, Media & Sports Practice Group. He joins from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.
Barnes & Thornburg’s Entertainment, Media and Sports Practice Group chair Jason Karlov said, “Warren has been involved in a multitude of motion picture and television transactions, often involving prominent financiers and studios. He’s the latest premier talent to join the firm, which continues to add entertainment practitioners in key markets across the country.”
Biro will focus his practice on media finance and entertainment transactional matters, working with independent production companies, high net worth individuals, and financial institutions on the legal and business issues that come with financing, producing and distributing television and film projects.
Biro earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law with a specialization in entertainment, media, and intellectual property. He has been named by Super Lawyers as a 2018 Southern California “Rising Star” in Entertainment & Sports.
