Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, announced the addition of Marcus Brown to the firm as a shareholder. Brown will be joining the Dallas office from Winstead, where he was a shareholder.
 
Brown, a Board Certified attorney in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, has over ten years of experience in labor and employment law. He focuses on advising in-house legal department and human resources professionals of multi-national, national, and small businesses dealing with issues involving discrimination, compliance, terminations, wage and hour, Family and Medical Leave Act, and claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
 
Managing shareholder Bryant McFall of the Dallas office said, “Marcus is a passionate attorney who has made quite a name for himself in Dallas and accumulated a tremendous amount of experience. Brown earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University. He currently serves as vice chair of the Board of Directors for Mental Health America of Greater Dallas and is a member of the National Employment Law Council and the State Bar of Texas’ Diversity in the Profession Committee.
