Brian S. Rosen Joins Proskauer in New York

Proskauer, an international law firm, announced the addition of corporate lawyer Brian S. Rosen to their New York office as a partner. He will be part of the Business Solutions, Governance, Restructuring & Bankruptcy Group.
Group Co-head Jeff Marwil said, “We are delighted to welcome Brian to the team. Brian is a real talent and leader in representing debtors, creditors and acquirers in distressed situations and will be a great asset to our thriving business.”
Group Chair Martin J. Bienenstock added, “I was fortunate to work with Brian for 23 years. We collaborated on the reorganization of Enron. I am thrilled to have Brian join us and be my partner once again. He will be instrumental in the continued growth and excellence of Proskauer’s restructuring and governance group.”
Rosen’s practice will focus on Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings, acquisitions of distressed companies and assets as well as matters involving sovereign indebtedness. He has been recognized by Legal 500 US, Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers.
Proskauer has been involved in many high-profile chapter 11 and sovereign restructuring cases in recent years. They are currently working with The Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico as the country undergoes the restructuring and bankruptcy process. They are also representing the Statutory Unsecured Claimholders’ Committee in the Caesars Entertainment Operating Company chapter 11 filing.
