Three Shareholders Join Ogletree Deakins
Summary: Ogletree Deakins has grown their team with the addition of two shareholders in Detroit and another in Sacramento.
One of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management has added three shareholders to their team. Ogletree Deakins welcomed Mike Nader, Bill Pilchak, and Dan Cohen.
Pilchak and Cohen are set to join the Detroit office from boutique labor and employment law firm Pilchak & Cohen. Nader will be working from the Sacramento office. He was of counsel and a shareholder from 2010-2013 before joining E. & J. Gallo Winery as an associate general counsel.
Managing shareholder Matt Keen said, “We are excited to welcome Dan, Bill, and Mike to Ogletree Deakins. They are all exemplary lawyers and will be of great benefit to the Detroit and Sacramento offices, as well as the firm as a whole.”
Pilchak has over 33 years of experience representing management in employment litigation and counsel. This includes work through dozens of trials in state and federal courts as the former senior trial attorney for the Oakland County prosecutor’s office. He earned his J.D. from the University of Detroit.
Cohen has been representing employers in labor and employment matters for over 30 years. He specifically focuses on assisting human resources professionals with workplace policies and procedures such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation under Title VII. He earned his J.D. from George Washington University.
Nader is a skilled litigator, advisor, counselor, and trainer with over 20 years of experience. He focuses on wage and hour class action litigation as well as defending discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims. He earned his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School and an LL.M. from Notre Dame Center for Civil and Human Rights.
