She is highly regarded and sought after in the Bay Area for her understanding of the complexities of the business and building environment. Meredith strengthens Perkins Coie’s presence in California and I am delighted to welcome her to the firm.”

With a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley and an undergraduate degree from Columbia University, Jones-McKeown will be a valuable addition. She joins Perkins Coie from Sheppard Mullin where she was co-chair of their construction practice and co-managing partner of the San Francisco office. She has received numerous awards and recognitions for her work, including named one of the “Most Influential Woman in Bay Area Business” by the San Francisco Business Times.

Managing Partner Barbara Schussman of the San Francisco office said, “Meredith is a distinguished attorney with stellar credentials and a wide breadth of experience. Her unique practice spans construction, real estate, and land use work and will be a great fit for the expanding needs of our clients on the West Coast - particularly in the Bay Area.”

Construction Group Chair Andrew Greene added, “Meredith is recognized as a ‘go to’ attorney by construction industry clients, including those playing an integral role in the Bay Area’s real estate market and economic growth. She is a key addition to our practice and will play an important role in representing firm clients on critical transactional and litigation matters.”
