A prominent group of telecommunications and technology practitioners joined DLA Piper in Washington D.C. The group will be co-chaired by Michael Senkowski and Nancy Victory. Other team members include Eric DeSilva as well as Michael Lewis and Tom Dombrowsky, both are engineers.

The group brings a depth of experience in advising and representing the telecommunications and technology sectors through regulatory and business issues, focusing on spectrum and emerging technology matters.

US co-chair of DLA Piper’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice Frank Ryan said, “Mike and his team bring a reputation as among the top telecommunications lawyers in their field. There are no better practitioners to offer clients counsel on how best to address complex and novel business and regulatory issues associated with the delivery of telecommunications services or new spectrum-based technologies.”

Senkowski started his career with the Federal Communications Commission, serving in several positions over the years, including FCC Chief of Staff and acting deputy chief of the Litigation Division. Victory has worked at the U.S. Department of Commerce as assistant secretary for Communications and Information.

The group is coming from Wiley Rein LLP where Senkowski was the chair of their Telecommunications practice, Victory was chair of the Wireless practice group, DeSilva was lead partner of the Wireless practice, Dombrowsky was senior engineering adviser, and Lewis was an engineering consultant.
