Financial Group at Foley & Lardner Welcomes New Team Member

Foley & Lardner LLP has added a new attorney to their Finance & Financial Institutions Practice. Jocelyn Lavallo will serve as of counsel in the New York office. She comes from Chadbourne & Parke LLP.

She will focus her practice on advising clients in the development, financing, purchase and sale of infrastructure and energy projects. She will place greater emphasis on solar and wind transactions in the country.
Co-chair of the Energy Industry Team, Jeff Atkin said, “We are thrilled to welcome Jocelyn to our energy team. Her energy financing experience will be an incredible asset to our clients and colleagues as we continue to enhance our energy industry offerings.”
Lavallo frequently works with financial institutions and developers through a variety of complex project financings such as partnership flips, asset acquisitions, sales and leasebacks, sales, construction and term debt financings.
Managing partner of the New York office, Peter Wang said, “As our clients explore opportunities in the expanding energy industry, Jocelyn will be able to provide an array of options and hands-on perspective.”
Her experience comes from leading financial transactions such as utility solar and wind projects as well as several hundred commercial distributed general solar projects. Her counsel to clients developing financial programs for new technologies like LED lighting, fuel cells, and combined heat and power plants has developed her expertise in the industry.
