In their third merger of the year, Dinsmore & Shohl LLP and Leventhal Law have become one in San Diego. With this merge, Dinsmore will now be located across the country with the West Coast as their previous missing link.

Dinsmore Managing Partner and Chairman, George H. Vincent, stated, “Establishing a West Coast presence is essential to support our clients’ current business needs. We focused on California given the wealth of innovation in the state and discovered we have a lot of synergies with Leventhal Law. Joining with them offers our clients coast to coast coverage and seasoned litigators in one of the biggest markets in the country. With this merger, our attorneys gain access to the high tech corridor along the California coast, and it positions us to leverage future opportunities to further enhance our service offerings.”

Leventhal Law is based out of San Diego, serving Fortune 250 companies, high-profile individuals, and emerging companies. They were only founded three years ago by former White House attorney Joe Leventhal. He stated of the merger, “Dinsmore’s commitment to helping clients accomplish their goals reflects our objective when we established Leventhal Law. We share the philosophy of emphasizing long term relationships, not short term goals.”

For the past two years, Dinsmore has placed an increased effort into expanding. Only two months ago, they merged with Gifford Krass, an Intellectual Property boutique, to give them a better footing in the Michigan area. They also merged with Huddleston Bolen in February. Last year they merged with Peck, Shaffer & Williams.

This latest merger gives them 625 attorneys and offices in 21 cities across the country.
