Schapiro Joins Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan as Litigation Partner
| 10/05/11 Schapiro joins Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan as litigation partner Andrew Schapiro, litigation partner at Mayer Brown, was added by Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, as a high-profile lateral partner to strengthen an already strong intellectual property practice. He will split his time between New York and Chicago. Schapiro, a Harvard Law School graduate, has represented major corporations and individuals in trials and appellate matters for 18 years. His specializations are intellectual property, white-collar and securities litigation, complex commercial litigation, and petitions. Quinn Emanuel expanded its New York office in addition to partnering Schapiro. The firm ranked 51 on the Am Law 100, and had reported gross revenues of $550 million and profits per partner of $3.6 million in 2010. |
