Carolina was a super recruiter. Because I am a recent JD graduate and I didn't get anything in OCI so I thought that I can't find any decent jobs after graduation and other recruiters also think so, So actually I reach out to other recruiters in other company's but once they found out that I am a recent graduate, they just lost their interest and they decided they didn't want to corporate with me, but Carolina also knew that it was a little hopeless for me to find a decent job, but she was still willing to try and it worked out well with a good job offer.
BCG made my job search easier because I think Carolina can find the resources and connect me with the law firms because law firms have the need to recruit associates and I have the need to get a new job and she did a good job with connecting me with the law firm. If I want to find a job personally I don't know which firms are recruiting and I just do the mass mailing, and that way I get a lot of rejection letters but if she knows which firms are recruiting its easier for me so that at least I don't have to do the mass mailing.

I liked the communication, back and forth, how you just add a response. There are a good number of firms listed back and forth, like I would wait a week and then there would be other options, it ended up working out. The recruiter seemed to say good things about me and that really helped in the interviews as well, I believe. I still did some of my own searching online, but a lot of times, there were firms that were confidential and you don't know who they are and can't really get a foot in the door. Where you guys were reaching out on my behalf, it helped me get that foot in the door. I would say you are the best of the 2 recruiting firms I have worked with previously.

What where some of your favorite things about working with BCG and Becca?

Becca was extremely helpful! She was available by phone whenever I needed her and she gave me some helpful hints on the interview process. Ultimately, she got me exactly the job I was looking for.

How did working with us make you job search easier?

She found the job for me so didn't have to find it. She applied to the position for me and it wasn't even a listed position. I didn't have to go through the astonishingly burdensome process of uploading a resume and having it auto populate wrong, which I had to do on a number of the other websites/firms where I applied. She did everything and I didn't have to do anything at all apart from the law school part and showing up and not being a total a** in the interview.
Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

# 1 because none of the other companies got me a jobs, they got me interviews but nothing else, so you get first place for that. I worked with Parker Lynch and one other and I thought they were fine but Becca was much more responsive than the others.

Anything else?

One of the think that I experienced with a couple of recruiters in my time as a lawyer this year and you get someone that is really excited and they say "You've got a great resume, I've got all of these things, hang on a minute and I'll get right back with you on Tuesday and we are going to have interviews for you" and then 2 weeks later I email them because I haven't heard anything and I never got a response. That didn't happen here and it has happened with other places in this particular search. Becca was always there whenever I emailed so that is one thing that really sets your firm apart from the others.
