Chicago office seeks associate with 5+ years of experience to join the General Litigation practice group.
"This is a large, prestigious full service firm based in Chicago, with offices in two of the major cities in the East Coast and the Midwest. Its strong suit is handling corporate and finance, litigation, intellectual property, trusts & estates, product liability, real estate, environmental, tax, labor and employment and construction matters. The firm has an interesting mix of clients, combining a good number of larger public and private companies with a fair number of mid-sized and smaller corporate clients. In addition, it represents a number of high-net worth individuals. One of the oldest law firm on Chicago, its overall atmosphere is friendly and down-to-earth. It hires the best and brightest attorneys from national and regional law schools, and the firm takes its business very seriously. This firm takes pride in its excellent formal training programs and feedback system and in the early responsibility that is given to associates. You are expected to produce excellent work product and are accordingly compensated for it. Its attorneys come from diverse background, and the attire in the office is largely casual.
