Pasadena, CA — As the official start of summer approaches, recruiters from BCG Attorney Search, the largest legal recruiting firm in the U.S., are working diligently to meet the hiring needs of top law firms across the country.

According to the expert recruiters of BCG Attorney Search, the summer season brings a variety of hiring requirements from law firms in different regions across the U.S.

Raffaele Murdocca, a Senior Recruiter and Managing Director of the Atlanta, Charlotte, and Miami offices of BCG Attorney Search, described what law firms in the southeast are looking for in their candidates.

Atlanta-based law firms are seeking transactional associates with two to six years of experience in such areas as: corporate mergers and acquisitions, securities, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, real estate, and finance, including asset-based and mortgage-backed securities. In addition, Atlanta firms are also looking for patent associates with electrical backgrounds.

Murdocca said that Charlotte-based law firms are seeking finance associates for structured finance and securitization positions. He also explained that these firms are willing train associates with what he described as "great law school credentials."

Finally, Murdocca said that law firms in Raleigh are looking for corporate and real estate associates with at least two years of experience, while south Florida firms are seeking associates with tax, corporate, or real estate experience.

Deborah J. Acker, attorney and Managing Director of BCG's Palo Alto office, said that this summer, her location is looking very seriously for 1-3 year level strong corporate candidates. Although they do not need to have passed the California bar, candidates must come from top 20-ranked law schools and be in the top 25% of their class.

"We are looking forward to exceeding the expectations of all our clients during the summer season and beyond. BCG is always committed to placing the best candidates in the most exceptional law firms across the country," said BCG Attorney Search CEO Harrison Barnes.
