Insurance Coverage Associate Joins Blank Rome

Blank Rome LLP has announced the addition of a new associate to their Insurance Coverage group. Amy J. Spencer will join the firm in their Washington D.C. office. The group was recognized in 2017 by The National Law Journal as “D.C. Litigation Department of the Year.”
Spencer is joining from Cohen Mohr LLP. Before her time with Cohen Mohr, she was an insurance coverage attorney with Dickstein Shapiro LLP before the firm merged with Blank Rome in February 2016. Her experience includes work in all major lines of insurance, including underlying claims with the False Claims Act, environmental and mass tort liabilities, consumer protection statutes, products liability, business interruption, trademark and patent infringement, directors and officers liability, first-party property claims, and business torts.
She earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her A.B. from Brown University in English and Political Science. She is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
