Denver firm with sophisticated litigation practice seeks staff attorney to assist in complex brief writing. This is a non-partnership track position, with a flexible work schedule of 40 hours per week. No travel required. Excellent academics and writing skills a must. Federal clerkship or state supreme court clerkship experience ideal, but not required. Full employee benefits will be provided.
"This smaller firm is based in Denver, but handles matters throughout the country on behalf of its impressive list of national clients. They limit their practice to litigation, and they frequently handle their clients' most complex cases involving precedent-setting issues. All attorneys at the firm are expected to assume significant responsibility, and they participate meaningfully in cases immediately. The atmosphere at the firm is relaxed and informal, and attorneys cooperate with and assist each other frequently. Associates are able to improve their skills through substantial training and mentoring. Attorneys at this firm work hard at times, but billable hours requirements are reasonable. The firm provides pro bono sevices to many worthy organizations and individuals, and it encourages its attorneys to participate."
