Norfolk office of our client seeks technology law attorney with 5+ years of experience. The candidate will be counseling clients on a broad range of complex legal, business and policy issues relating to information technology development, protection, acquisition, licensing and formation of business entities, including joint ventures and collaborative teams for development and use of information technology. Will be drafting and negotiating related legal agreements; assisting clients in development of internal policies and procedures for cybersecurity, document and file retention, and regulatory compliance related to intellectual property and information technology systems and software. Experience with product development, software licensing and other commercial or government contracts involving information technology and intellectual property or related technical expertise is beneficial. Familiarity with trademark, copyright and privacy law is preferred.
