King of Prussia office of our client seeks attorney with 1-3 years of litigation, collections or bankruptcy experience. The candidate will provide legal representation to Pennsylvania taxing districts with regard to the collection of delinquent real estate taxes and user fees. Will report to the Managing Attorney for Collection Services and supports Senior Management. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the relevant federal and state laws, local court rules, ordinances, resolutions and client contracts necessary for the office to provide legal representation to assigned group of clients. Supervise all accounts and interactions relative to assigned clients, which includes the following work in the office: responding in a timely way to client and staff inquiries; assist in the initial setup of new clients as assigned, preserving and nurturing relationship with assigned group of clients; maintaining copies of all ordinances, resolutions and contracts of assigned clients and monitoring them to verify that they are current and complete. Oversee paralegal work product; review and sign pleadings prepared by paralegals, including writs of execution. Actively participate in a local Bar association.
