Fort Lauderdale office of our client seeks litigation attorney with 2+ years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for cases from inception through trial or settlement. Will investigate the merits of potential new cases. Draft complaints, manage discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses, preparing discovery-related motions, and analyzing productions. Drafting briefs in opposition to dispositive motions. Prepare for and participate in lay and expert depositions. Manage all court and case deadlines. Analyze value of cases. Develop an in depth knowledge of a multitude of state and federal consumer laws. Stay abreast of changes and nuances in consumer law and litigation. Strategic analysis and application of legal theories and solutions to maximize results. Weekly and Monthly reporting requirements to the firm partners. Federal experience, consumer litigation experience, or handling plaintiff PIP claims or similar attorney fee driven plaintiff work is a plus. Should be a Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.

They have their offices in several counties in Florida including Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach. Their areas of concentration include wrongful foreclosures, lending fraud, loan modifications, bankruptcy, credit card fraud, short sales, debt defense, harassment & abuse related to debt collection, unauthorized texting, credit reporting abuse, loan assistance for students and helping them with debt clearance, and other claims and litigation issues.
