Atlanta office of our client seeks labor and employment litigation attorney with 4-5 years of counseling experience. The candidate will be managing cases from inception through trial (first or second chair experience preferred), including single plaintiff and class/collective action matters in federal and state court. Will be conducting witness interviews, drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. Preparing EEOC and other administrative agency position statement. Serve in employer-side labor and employment advice and counseling, including preparing all forms of employment-related agreements, drafting and revising employee handbooks, providing wage and hour advice, and conducting human resources audits. Must be admitted to practice in Georgia (and, at a minimum, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit). Should have litigation experience, including case management expertise. Knowledge of all relevant federal and state employment laws is required.
