Mount Laurel office of our client seeks environmental law attorney with 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, permitting and licensing. The candidate will research and interpret facts and law dealing with intricate environmental issues. Will perform analysis and make or suggest opinions dealing with highly complex issues that impact client. Develop existing and generate new business. File applications with NJDEP and represent client with all issues related to application. Represent client in legal proceedings related to applications to NJDEP and environmental claims. Review Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports prepared by environmental consultants and advise clients on the appropriate action related to such reports. Assist governmental client with applications for funding available for environmental studies and remediation. Research and prepare memoranda on a variety of legal issues. Draft correspondence in response to questions and/or requests for information from clients, attorneys, judges, officials and/or agencies. Represent client in legal proceedings that may involve court appearances, administrative hearings, depositions and meetings. Prepare and enter daily time entries. Must have admission to the New Jersey Bar.
