La Mesa office of our client seeks public agency advisory attorney with 2-5 years of experience advising public agency clients, such as cities, special districts, and joint powers authorities, on general public agency law matters including the Ralph M. Brown Act, the California Public Records Act, the Political Reform Act, public agency bidding and procurement laws, Proposition 218 (taxes, assessments and fees), and election law matters. The candidate should preferably have litigation experience. Should have experience drafting, reviewing and editing ordinances, resolutions and various types of contracts. Must preferably have experience advising or presenting to public agency commissions or boards. Must be admitted by the California Bar.
