Santa Monica office of our client seeks patent attorney with relevant experience. The candidate will be responsible for analysis of inventive technologies in high technology product development including computer technologies, neurosynaptic computing, electronics, semiconductors, telecommunications and network technologies, digital and analog signal processing, circuit design and storage devices for the purpose of patent procurement. Will assist in procurement of patents in the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), prepare and prosecute domestic patent applications in a wide range of technologies. Prepare responses to U.S. Office Actions from the USPTO, analysis of inventive technology for procurement of patents worldwide. Prepare international patent applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and national phase patent applications. Prepare recommendations for responses to foreign office Actions/Examination Reports from foreign Patent Offices, manage domestic and international intellectual property portfolios for various clients. Conduct prior art searches, prepare legal analysis for technology related intellectual property, prepare legal pleadings and papers for intellectual property and related matters.
