Details Katy Anderman is a Recruiter for BCG’s Washington, D.C. office and works with candidates all over the East Coast.
Prior to becoming a legal recruiter, Katy earned a Master's Degree in Communications from Northwestern University and spent ten years as a recruiter with two major law firms in both Chicago and New York. Katy is uniquely qualified to advise both clients and candidates as a result of her extensive recruiting and personnel experience in the legal industry.
Previously, Katy was the Recruiting Director at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago for eight years and spent two years working in the recruiting department at King & Spalding in New York. Working closely with hiring partners and recruiting committees, she literally hired hundreds of new associates, lateral attorneys and partners, helping them integrate and acclimate to the firm. Katy’s understanding of how strategic personnel decisions are made at firms allows her to add tremendous value when counseling attorneys and helping them navigate the law firm hiring process.
As a recruiter, Katy is able to leverage her deep understanding of law firm life with her genuine interest in professional development and counseling. She considers herself a trusted advocate for her candidates and her clients and invests the time to thoroughly understand the needs of both parties to ensure the best possible fit.
Katy earned her Masters Degree in Communications from Northwestern University and her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois, graduating summa cum laude.
