Ogletree Strengthens Capabilities in Philadelphia

Ogletree Deakins, one of the country’s largest labor and employment law firms representing management, made the announcement that they had added a group of attorneys to their Philadelphia office. Four attorneys from Montgomery McCracken’s labor and employment practice will join the firm, greatly strengthening Ogletree’s capabilities in Pennsylvania, South Jersey and throughout the Northeast.
 
Two of the attorneys, Daniel O’Meara and Janice Dubler, will join as shareholders, while the remaining two will be associates with the firm. Managing shareholder of the Philadelphia office, Donald Gamburg, said, “Dan and Janice are phenomenal lawyers with an outstanding reputation in Philadelphia and South Jersey. They will be an asset to our Philadelphia office, Pennsylvania and South Jersey-based clients, and the firm as a whole. We’re excited to welcome Dan, Janice, and this group to the firm.”
 
O’Meara and Dubler typically work with clients in aerospace, building products, executive search, manufacturing, non-profit, and pharmaceuticals. He has over 30 years practicing law, previously serving as chair of Montgomery McCracken’s Employment Counseling and Litigation practice. He has given many speeches and presentations on labor and employment topics to organizations liked the Labor and Employment Relations Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.
 
Dubler has over 22 years of legal experience, previously serving as vice chair alongside O’Meara. She frequently works with clients on employment matters like discrimination and harassment claims based on sexual orientation, race, gender, age, disability, and national origin as well as matters like retaliation and whistleblower allegations, trade secret, breach of contract, and restrictive covenant issues. She earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden.
