Munck Wilson Mandala Strengthens Their Technology/IP Practice

Munck Wilson Mandala welcomed a team of seven attorneys to the firm’s technology/intellectual property practice. The attorneys include partners Gregory Howison, Brian Walker and John Arnott from Howison and Arnott, LLP, an intellectual property boutique. They are bringing with them their senior counsels Edward Jorgenson, Andrew Graham, Steven Greenfield, and associate Keith Harden.
Managing partner William A. Munck said, “Greg and I have been friends for nearly 25 years. We connected through the legal community in the early 1990s. Greg’s firm has been a significant force in intellectual property law and both he and I saw a great opportunity to combine two strong and complementary IP practices.”
Howison added, “Munck Wilson Mandala is well-known among technology clients and the legal community as a reputable and cost effective law firm. We are excited to join forces with Bill and his team and help make a powerful IP team even more powerful.”
Howison has over 35 years of experience in the industry that first started as a design engineer in high-frequency communications, digital and analog design. He then pursued a law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
Arnott brings 23 years of experience to the firm in patent and trademark law. He also received his J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Walker has 26 years of IP law experience with a focus on preparation and prosecution of patent applications in telecommunication, electrical and software-related technologies. He received his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law.
Munck Wilson has now 27 registered patent attorneys with a combined number of years of technical and IP legal experience at over 500.
