Hogan Lovells Welcomes Partner to Corporate Practice
Summary: Hogan Lovells strengthened their Northern California office by adding a new partner to their corporate practice.
Hogan Lovells announced the addition of a new partner to their Northern California Corporate Practice. Partner Christopher Moore will help boost the firm’s global M&A practice.
Hogan Lovells Global Head David Gibbons of the Corporate Practice Group said, “Chris is a tremendous addition to our global M&A team, with deep expertise advising clients on both public and private transactions. His joining is another step in our focused effort to increase the capabilities of our M&A practice in key markets.”
Moore is joining Hogan Lovells from Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Moore worked closely with other recent Hogan Lovells additions from Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Market-leading M&A partners Richard Climan, Keith Flaum, Jane Ross and Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions partner John Brockland all left the firm to join Hogan Lovells recently. Climan said, “Chris is a superb M&A lawyer. Our clients very much enjoyed working with him at our prior firm, and we are elated that he had decided to join us at Hogan Lovells.”
Moore will focus his efforts on advising major technology and life sciences organizations with domestic and cross-border transactional matters like divestitures, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Some of his work includes helping Eli Lilly acquire CoLucid Pharmaceuticals, advising in its sale to Liberty Interactive, Adobe Systems with its acquisition of Aviary, and more.
Moore earned his J.D. and B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
