Procopio Welcomes Partner Tyler Paetkau

The Silicon Valley Procopio office added a new partner to their Labor & Employment practice group. Highly experienced attorney Tyler Paetkau will be working primarily from the Silicon Valley office.
Procopio Managing Partner Tom Turner said, “Tyler Paetkau is a great addition to our growing Labor & Employment team. He’s a seasoned litigation veteran as well as an accomplished employment counselor, and his extensive experience in Silicon Valley adds to our increasing presence in that very important economic region.”
Paetkau will work with employers in state and federal litigation for cases involving claims of wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, unfair competition, defamation, and sexual harassment. He also advises employers on personnel policies and procedures so that they comply with laws and regulations. His extensive experience in restrictive covenants and trade secrets, labor-management relations, employee mobility issues, international labor and employment law matters, ethics and corporate compliance issues and defense of collective and class actions will benefit the firm’s clients.
Partner and Management Committee Member Marie Burke Kenny leads the firm’s Labor & Employment practice. The group works to provide customized advice and representation for a client’s short-term and long-term needs in a cost-effective and efficient way. The other attorneys of the group have experience in Native American law, trade secrets, healthcare, class actions, cross-border issues, litigation, and more.
Procopio has four other offices in Austin, Phoenix, San Diego, and Del Mar Heights.
