Bracewell Welcomes Hans P. Dyke to Washington D.C. Office
Summary: Energy partner Hans P. Dyke has joined the Washington D.C. office of Bracewell.
One of the leading law and government relations law firms, Bracewell LLP, has added Hans P. Dyke to their team. Dyke will join the Washington D.C. office as a partner in the energy practice. He joins Bracewell from Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer.

Bracewell Managing Partner Gregory M. Bopp said, “Hans is a terrific addition to the firm and our market-leading energy practice. He is a well-known and talented lawyer with extensive experience in electric power and midstream transactions. We are delighted to welcome him to the firm.”
Dyke will focus his practice on advising clients on transactions of both electric power and oil & gas midstream space. He will also work on transactions regarding energy intensive industries like data storage. He regularly works on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, financings, and equity investments. His clients include investor clubs, tax equity investors, and global chemical and energy companies.
Managing Partner of the Washington D.C. office, Mark K. Lewis added, “Hans’ transactional experience in energy and energy-related industries will be an asset to our existing client base. Likewise, the firm’s depth and breadth across the energy industry will allow Hans to better serve and grow relationships with his existing clients, many of whom are already served by Bracewell. He will be a great fit for our energy practice both here in Washington D.C. and across the entire firm.”
Dyke stated, “I am honored to join Bracewell’s well-respected and reputable energy practice. Bracewell is a leader in the energy sector, and I look forward to working with this talented group.” Dyke earned his B.A. from Carthage College with an M.A. from Marquette University. He received his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law where he also served as an adjunct professor.
Bracewell has made a number of additions to their firm lately with Robert J. Wagman Jr. joining the Washington D.C. office last month in their government contracts practice.
