Lowenstein Sandler’s New York City office received a boost with the addition of Corporate lawyer Benjamin C. Burkhart. He will be joining the Transactions and Advisory Group and Tech Group. Burkhart has extensive experience with strategic M&A and investment transactions, especially in technology companies and investment funds. He joins from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

Burkhart will strengthen the Corporate Department, which is comprised of 200 lawyers. He will focus on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate finance, and investment transactions. He has represented some of the largest acquisitions in the technology space today, including four of Fortune’s top 20 technology startups. The startups include Airbnb, Snapchat, WeWork Companies, and Uber Technologies.

He earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School and his A.B. from Dartmouth College.
