Littler Adds Shareholder in Minneapolis
Summary: The Minneapolis office of Littler Mendelson has added a new shareholder to their team.
Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management welcomed a new shareholder to their team. Kurt J. Erickson will be joining the Minneapolis office from Jackson Lewis P.C. He was also an assistant attorney general in Minnesota for several years.

Office managing shareholder of the Minneapolis office Andrew J. Voss said, “Kurt has spent nearly 30 years working as outside counsel, in-house counsel and in public service here in Minnesota. As a result, he has deep roots in the state and has been at the forefront of litigation trends impacting employers. His breadth and depth of experience will be a strong addition to our clients locally and across the country.”
The experience Erickson brings with him includes representing public and private employers in federal and state courts, as well as before state administrative tribunals. He regularly defends employers in class action litigation such as discrimination charges brought by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and has handled a variety of disputes regarding gender, race, and disability discrimination during his time with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office.
Erickson said, “Littler has long been ahead of the curve in its commitment to innovation and developing new approaches to serving clients. I am excited to join Littler and leverage the firm’s pioneering approaches, robust Knowledge Management Department and strong subject matter experience of its lawyers around the globe.”
He earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.A. from the University of Minnesota.
