HWB Welcomes Multilingual Partner

Howse Williams Bowers, an independent law firm, has welcomed a new partner to their team. Janet Lee, a property and conveyancing partner, will advise clients on a wide range of property and conveyancing matters such as deeds of mutual covenant, agreements for sale and purchase, management agreements, leases and tenancy agreements, building management, property related regulatory matters, and land documentation.

Lee previously worked as in the Legal Advisory and Conveyancing Office of Lands Department. She was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1993. Lee is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
HWB now has 11 partners and a total staff count of about 150. Their key practice areas continue to be corporate, commercial and corporate finance; clinical negligence and healthcare; commercial and maritime dispute resolution; employment; property and building management; family and matrimonial; intellectual property; personal injury and professional indemnity insurance; banking; and financial services/corporate regulatory and compliance.
The firm’s partners have spent a majority of their careers in Hong Kong, providing them with a detailed understanding of business in Asia and international business.
