Family Law Team Joins Blank Rome
Summary: A nationally recognized family law team is joining Blank Rome in Los Angeles to make their West Coast team something to be jealous of.
Blank Rome in Los Angeles will be welcoming several new members to their office on July 1. Four attorneys and additional staff are moving from Phillips Lerner, a top family law firm in Los Angeles, to join the Matrimonial and Family Law Group at Blank Rome. The group at the firm will now be at nearly 30 attorneys. The new attorneys will be Stacy D. Phillips and Kevin Martin as Partners and Marc Lerner and Pauline Martin as Of Counsel.

Blank Rome’s Chairman and Managing Partner Alan J. Hoffman said, “We are thrilled to welcome Stacy, Marc, Kevin, Pauline, and the team to Blank Rome. With a strong foothold on the East Coast, our top-ranked matrimonial and family law group has built a solid reputation practicing in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Florida, and we are very excited to expand to the West Coast with the addition of such an established and well-respected team of family law attorneys.”
Phillips, one of the founders of Phillips Lerner, served as the managing principal. She represented a wide variety of high-profile and celebrity clients undergoing divorce and custody issues. She is a Certified Family Law Specialist, a distinction only given to a select few by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
Chair of the Matrimonial and Family Law Practice Group Lois J. Liberman said, “I have known and admired Stacy for years and could not be happier that she and the wonderful group of practitioners Stacy works with are joining our team at Blank Rome. The entire team uses compassion, persuasion, negotiation, and aggressive advocacy to help clients successfully navigate important life transitions with a focus on serving the best interest of families. Phillips also started the Adopt-A-Center Program to support local nonprofit organizations that provide outreach to children and families. Her and her late father also started the Phillips/Samuels/Victor Family Fund at the Dartmouth Ethics Institute.
She earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and her B.A. from Dartmouth College. Lerner received his J.D. and B.S. from the University of Southern California. Kevin Martin earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.A. from Emory University. Pauline Martin received her J.D. and B.A. from the University of California.
