International law firm Proskauer Rose has brought a new partner onto their team in Washington D.C. Seth J. Safra has joined the nationally recognized Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Group. He was a partner at Covington & Burling.

Safra will be the principal employee benefits and executive compensation counsel for some of the largest employers in the country. His focus will be on all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation such as design and administration of retirement plans, health and welfare arrangements, and more.

Co-chair of the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Group, Paul M. Hamburger said, “Seth is one of the most talented and creative young partners in the ERISA field. His comprehensive experience in advising public and private companies on the full spectrum of employee benefits and executive compensation issues serves as a great complement to our practice. Safra has been recognized by The Legal 500 and as an up-and-coming lawyer by Human Resource Executive, Super Lawyers, Lawdragon, and Law360. He earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and research editor for the Duke Law Journal. He received his undergraduate from Georgia Institute of Technology.
