Littler Mendelson Welcomes Shareholder to Miami

Littler Mendelson, the world’s largest labor and employment law firm has further expanded their Miami team with the addition of powerhouse attorney Jennifer A. Schwartz as a shareholder. Schwartz is joining the firm from Jackson Lewis where she was a principal for the last five years and has worked for over ten years.

In a joint statement by co-managing directors Tom Bender and Jeremy Roth they said, “Jennifer’s arrival follows a number of high-profile additions to Littler over the past year as acquiring top lateral talent remains a key part of our growth strategy, both domestically and globally. We are pleased to welcome Jennifer to the firm and know that our clients will benefit tremendously from her counsel as they face a continued rise in employment related claims and litigation.”
Schwartz will continue to focus her work on wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, unfair business practices, and wage and hour violations. She has experience with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Florida Commission on Human Relations, Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation, Florida Department of Agency Hearings, and the U.S. Department of Labor.
Miami office managing shareholder Patrick G. DeBlasio said, “Jennifer has extensive experience litigation employment matters in a range of areas that will strengthen offerings to our clients in south Florida and globally. She has secured impressive victories for employers in a wide range of industries, including hospitality, pharmaceuticals, retail and gaming that align well with our client base.”
She earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Florida in political science.
