Patricia Stanton will take on the leadership of the new office in addition to her duty as chair of the Real Estate practice at the firm. She was previously in the Dallas office where she was the partner in charge. Timothy Durst will not take over that role in Dallas.

Baker, the firm’s Managing Partner, said, “Opening a San Francisco office builds upon our robust growth in Palo Alto and allows us to expand the work we are already performing for our clients in California.”
Baker went on to explain Stanton’s qualifications, “We are thrilled that Pat Stanton will be assuming the leadership of the new San Francisco office. Pat is a seasoned and experienced real estate lawyer, and over the past three years she has done an outstanding job leading our Dallas office. She is the ideal choice to lead our new San Francisco office.”
Baker Botts plans to continuing expanding the San Francisco office through their practice capabilities as the needs arise.
