This is not their first Pennsylvania office. In 2012 they opened an office in Wayne with five lawyers taken from Burns White. They will be keeping this office.
The new office will feature partners Frank Mayer and Richard Berman. Mayer is coming from Pepper Hamilton where he worked on the regulatory aspects of financial institutions. He will be bringing colleague Jonathan Levin to serve as of counsel. Berman was a partner at Parker McCay in South Jersey and as in-house counsel for several financial institutions.
Paul F. Gallagher, Raymond J. Hunter, and Maureen Rowan will be the litigators in the new office. Rowan is joining as partner, Gallagher as of counsel, and Hunter as an associate. They specialize in the defense of railroads, self-insured corporations, and insurance companies.
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter said, “We are very excited to welcome Dinsmore to Philadelphia as they continue their growth in our area. With this move Dinsmore joins the growing list of companies that recognize the value of being in Philadelphia.”
Dinsmore has over 600 attorneys working from 20 locations throughout the United States.
