Greenberg Traurig Chooses New Outstanding CEO

America's third largest firm, Greenberg Traurig, has announced they will name co-president Brian Duffy as CEO. The firm opened their Denver office in 2000, and Duffy's been on board that whole time, for these 15 years, earning the trust and admiration of coworkers such as Richard Rosenbaum, who is stepping down as CEO.

"Brian is a significant asset to the firm on multiple levels and is a strong leader in the mold of others who have been successful leaders of our firm; we are friends and will be a great team," said Rosenbaum.

"Early on, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to experience first-hand Brian's character, loyalty, and integrity; traits that cannot be taught and are critically important in a key leader of the Greenberg Traurig family."

Not only has Duffy earned the trust and admiration of his coworkers, he's also earned the University of Colorado Law School Alumni Award for Distinguished Achievement in Private Practice.

Duffy as a Denver lawyer will work out of Denver and New York, bringing on board his experience as an appellate lawyer who has worked in class action, employment, energy, commercial contract, and product liability suits.

Duffy will take on his new role on January 1, 2016.
