Dana Treister Joins Seyfarth Shaw LLP in Los Angeles
The law firm of Seyfarth Shaw LLP has announced that Dana S. Treister has joined the firm in the Los Angeles office as a partner in the Real Estate practice, according to a release.
Treister comes to the firm from Greenberg Traurig LLP. He worked there as a shareholder in the Real Estate department.
He focuses his practice on the acquisition and sale of commercial properties, land use, real estate finance, ground lease transactions and entitlement work.
Treister has helped clients when forming joint ventures and structuring tax-advantaged real estate transactions. He has also advised developers with transactions with multi-family properties and industrial properties within the hospitality industry.

His addition augments an extremely strong real estate practice in Los Angeles and helps expand our broad capabilities nationally," said Paul Mattingly, chair of Seyfarth's Real Estate practice. "With greater activity in the development sector, Dana's development skills will be an essential additional resource for clients developing projects on the West Coast."
Other clients include multi-family apartment complexes, warehouses, office campuses, shopping centers and warehouses.

Treister has worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, which is where he earned his law degree.
