Hires a New Global Finance Partner
Sidley Austin LLP has hired Ram Burshtine as a partner in its New York office. Ram will be joining the Global Finance Practice group of the firm. He has an established track record of representing private equity sponsors, financial institutions and corporate borrowers in both domestic and international financing transactions.
In his practice, Burshtine focuses primarily on leveraging domestic and cross-border acquisition and recapitalization of financing transactions. His specialties include advising on leveraged cash-flow and asset-based syndicated credit facilities as well as investment grade financing. He also has extensive experience in first and second lien secured facilities, senior and mezzanine transactions and unitranche loans.
Burshtine regularly counsels clients on credit facilities, debt restructuring, and exit financing. He has represented clients in transactions worth more than $6 billion in the last two years.
