Moore, Costello & Hart, a St. Paul based law firm that is considered the oldest in Minnesota is dissolving as per a report from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. The firm was founded in 1855, even before Minnesota was granted statehood and was still called the Minnesota Territory. Chief Justice Warren Burger (serving on the bench from 1969-1986) was one of the partners of the firm.

Heidi Neff Christianson and Susan Kratz, who were the firm's health care partners, have now joined Nilan Johnson Lewis, another Minneapolis law firm according to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
