Dewey Starts Week with More Partner Losses
Dewey & LeBoeuf is close to getting a lifeline from its creditors but the partner exodus shows no signs of slowing down. At least 10 more partners have jumped ship and that brings the total number of partners who have left this year to at least 83. The defections are from its Dubai, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C. offices. The partners leaving are from its tax practice group, bank and institutional finance group, consumer and financial services group, and partners with experience in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.
