Law Firms Finally Realizing Social Media’s Potential
A report from ALM Legal Intelligence shows that law firms are finally jumping up on the social media bandwagon. The ALM report “Fans, Followers, and Connections: Social Media ROI for Law Firms” is based on a survey which shows that around 85 percent of the law firms that were represented in the survey said that their attorneys use social media. These lawyers also maintained at least one blog, a figure that stood at 70 percent.
Another key finding was the fact that almost 90 percent of the survey respondents said that integrating social media into their firms marketing plans was important. Half of the respondents also admitted that blogging and other social media activities helped them generate new leads and almost 40 percent said that it even helped them get new work.
