Fried Frank hiring Hong Kong Partners from O'Melveny
Douglas Freeman, partner of O'Melveny & Myers has confirmed that he is moving to Fried, Frank, Harris Shriver & Jacobson. He will join firm's Hong Kong office as partner for its corporate practice. Counsel of O'Melveny, Victor Chen, will also join Fried Frank as a partner. Victor is associated with merger & acquisition team of O'Melveny. Six lawyers of the firm have also been elected to the Firm's partnership, effective September 1, 2011. Fried Frank represents clients in M&A deals worldwide. The firm serves many of the world's largest companies, financial institutions, and investment firms as counsel. The Firm has offices in New York, Washington, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
