Skadden, Latham Partners joined Kirkland for Hong Kong Office
The law firm Kirkland & Ellis like other firms has joined in expanding operations to the Asian market, specifically in Hong Kong. They have been speaking with office of Skaden, Arps, Siate, Meagher & Flom and Latham. There are fears that this recruitment and expansion to Hong Kong will further hinder a tattered. The Hong Kong-based co-heads of Skadden's Asia corporate practice, Nicholas Norris and Dominic Tsun have resigned to join Kirkland. Kirkland has also employed former corporate practice vice-chair David Zhang and partner John Otoshi from the Hong Kong office of Latham & Watkins.
