Democrats Call For Investigation into Hunton & Williams and Tech Companies
With tensions between Democrats and Republicans at an all time high, it is no surprise that more that 12 Democratic Congress members called for an investigation into a high-ranking law firm, Hunton & Williams, and three technology companies HBGary, Berico, and Palantir.
According to a letter written by Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA), their evidence will ''reveal a conspiracy to use subversive techniques to target Chamber critics.'' The letter calls the actions ''deeply troubling'' and that ''tactics developed for use against terrorist may have been unleashed against American citizens.''
