South Carolina's Department of Revenue Director Joins Firm; Resigns
Ray Stevens, South Carolina's Department of Revenue director has stepped down from his position with the state in order to take a position at the Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein law firm.
''It's been a privilege, an incredibly fulfilling experience. One I wouldn't trade for anything,'' said Stevens of his time as director. ''But by early fall of this year,'' Stevens added. ''With Governor Sanford's term ending, I'd pretty well decided to head back to my litigation roots.''
